Wonder Woman 1984

You can call me that if you like. Personally I think it's a bit much though. 😉

So can't help but notice that Wonder Woman 3 has already been confirmed yet MoS still can't get a proper sequel.

Well that was... somewhat disappointing. The cast was good, did the best they could with the script I guess. It got quite boring in parts. Also it didn't really look like the big budget film it should have. Most of the action sequences didn't work all that well and there weren't a lot of them anyway. Probably wouldn't have been an issue if the rest of the film was interesting, but mostly it wasn't. Felt like a bunch of stuff all thrown together. It looks even worse when compared to the first movie.

The whole flying, swinging around on lasso stuff I agree didn't look great but that's a minor gripe overall.

Kind of a weird film really. Supposedly it was broadly a homage to Superman 2.

As well as 6 DC movies a year from 2022 (4 in cinemas, 2 on HBO Max).

No surprise... they want to milk Wonder Gal as much as they can, considering her first film succeeded, sort of.

Meh. The good parts were clearly inspired by the first 2 Captain America movies (not that theres anything wrong with that). Plus Gal was really hot.

As for the DCEU, I liked Shazam. Hope they carry that on.

Thats actually more than I thought. Should beat Tenet even with a simultaneous HBO release.

But needs like $500mill to break even. So cant call it a success yet. And it definitely didnt make the splash on HBO Max they wanted either.

Also seems to have very mediocre WOM.
