For the yanks among us, how's it feel on the ground in the cities where you live. I find economic figures sometimes feel detached from reality. It's all well and good having rising stock prices but if the % of people with no savings or a portfolio is high then it won't translate to better life standards for many.
Obviously some cities and towns will fare better than other dependant on the primary industries there.
Are the jobs being created high skill high pay or low pay service jobs etc.
Be good to hear people's experiences.

With the amount and type of information we have access to in modern times the GDP seems like a measurement that could use some shoring up.
