I swear, in everyday life, a person's race really really doesn't matter and hardly anyone even notices it. I think in the last 10-ish years, the only time I saw racism in the workplace was an old white guy who was lashing out at everyone around him when he was stressed over stupid things. He got a formal reprimand and will retire soon as well.
I think the news keeps us worried about race to keep us polarized and focused on identity politics. That's my tinfoil hat moment of the day.
