It wpuld be pretty good if they did an Age of Apocalypse movie like in the comic, but i think it would be too dark and scary.
I would love that too,it is my favorite x-story ever.it would be real scary and the story was really long too(which I liked but wouldnt go over well in a movie either)
I agree, it would be too complicated to bring Apocalypse now, If they had given hints of someone pullings the strings since X1 it would have been good and have A-poc instigate a war between mutants and humans since his motto is "Survival of the Fittest" but since they havent given any hint it would be too complicated unless they start hinting it in X3 and he shows up in X5!
id much rather see apocalypse in a movie than the pheonix, unless they did the pheonix right whcih would take a couple of movies but it would prolly be near impossible to do an appocalypse in the movies seeing how singer chose to do the movies on a realistic standard, i think omega red would work perfectly though omega and juggernaut amonst the most powerfull foes of the x-men. Man i loved the whole AoA story untill the end the ending kind of made the whole story pointless unless you were a bishop fan and where was cable he was barely in that series
Cable turned out to be X-man Aka Nate Grey. He was created by Sinister to defeat Apocalypse. In X-men Omega, he shoved a piece of the M krann crystal into Holocaust and both of them were teleported to modern X-men reality. Nate Grey was killed by his own powers i think. not sure, since no human that young should be able to wield the power of Phoenix wiithout proper training.
Cable and X-Man (Nate Grey) are not the same person, technically. X-Man is what Cable would have been if he hadn't been infected by Apocalypse's techno-virus.
X-Man died when he merged with a villain called Anti-Man, who sought to distribute his own cells to all beings on earth, effectively poisoning the DNA of all humans and mutants on Earth. X-Man's merging with him basically nullified this effect, though. However, you are right, X-Man would have died soon, as Sinister (in the AoA timeline) artificially boosted his powers far beyond the limits of Nate's body.
But there is more things that make cable and x-man different.
Cable is the son of cyclops and madelyne prior, a cloned jean grey.
X-man is the son cyclops and the real jean grey, I mean there mustn't there be some genetic changes, between a clone and the real thing.
Oh, and that ending maverickice presented with sinister and apocalypse in the shadows would be great. It's just like the ending of the game x-men 2 Wolverines revenge.
By the way, Apocalypse has that technology from the celestials and some of his powers come from that technology. They can't do that, right? I mean bring in allmighty giant aliens, just as a sidething!
I was thinking about something along the exact same line MaverickIce.
To introduce the notion that the division of man and mutant has reached out to us even since before recorded time is something that could truly make the X-men line epic.
Every time I read a story line with Apocalypse in it, my mind always start writing a new story that draws on accounts of supernatural beings from biblical accounts and Greek mythology. Perhaps they were the first Mutants.
