Got to go with Ronan w/ power gem. As impressive as Thanos was, he didn't have the power to singlehandedly destroy an entire planet.

Not what we are talking about. It is a versus fight not a who can destroy a planet which Ronan never successfully did either. Thanos beats him faster than the gotg.

This is a versus fight. Thanos beats him. Gotg did not need to destroy a planet to beat him either. Make a relevant and fair argument.

Ronan has ranged blasts from his hammer. Throwing a sword at him would probably be a mistake on Thanos' part since Ronan can just blast it out of the air.

Quit trolling. Ronan was not some elusive badass he was struck and cumbersome multiple times in the film.

Ronan beat drax but was not quick or agile. Thanos took on Drax and friends and defeated them all. Ronan also fled from marvel despite having a fleet and firepower at his disposal. Thanos has better feats, better skill, and is more durable while being much smarter.
