No, he defeated her. Knocked her out of the picture. SW all out was defeated. Thanos resisted infinity stone destroying power then had her defeated. She later showed up to aid Marvel in making it to the van. How did that turn out? Thanos is the only character in the MCU, dceu, foxverse, etc. who could take on the combined assault from the heroes assembled against him.

He was getting crushed to death. Had no offense against her in a 1vs1 battle and needed outside interference. Go watch the YouTube clips. Plain as day. Not to mention she was holding him at bay in IW with one hand while destroying the Mind stone. So in two 1vs1 showings. Thanos was made to look weaker. Facts are facts. Your boy was screaming in pain.
