I think it really depends if Vulcan can drain Quasar and Surfer fast enough before getting taken out

Glads has Vulcan number IIRC. Best shot for mutants are for Exodus & Stryfe to do a combine tp assault. Maybe Surfer and Nova with Worldmind can resist it, may not. I think the rest of the Annihilators would be easy picking for psychic shenanigans.

Of course on the Annihilators side you have some really fast characters, that could do a lot of damage with the infamous forum speedblitz.
