https://www.x-kom.pl/p/425181-obudowa-do-komputera-corsair-carbide-series-275r-tg-czarna.html

imagine living in a country where 80 USD PC case is beyond your dreams

agony is excruciating

You travel around the world, you own a gun in Poland, but you can't afford an $80-odd dollar computer case?

Nice case BTW, simple and utilitarian, as things should be. Will use that if I build again.

Problem solved, use the gun to rob a bank.

Just sell the next Polish rent car you steal. Problem solved.

Heck if He has a Gun He could just go take over Germany. No one there could stop him...granted Germany is BrokeAF...eh.. Just rob a bank.

it's funny, but actually having a 2-week travel around the Europe can cost you basically around 20 Euros + food if you choose good trains, also people are really easy-going and if you just stand around the road with a poster saying "BERLIN" after an hour you'll find a guy who will pick you up in exchange for someone to talk to, mostly truck drivers

lol 80 bucks for that case? It's a POS. I just bought a $19.99 generic one, cut out a hole, and put in a plastic panel I had laying around. Walla!

nah, this shit has awesome cooling, good filters, perfect layout for my stuff etc

so sad

Should start a KMC GoFund for Bart's computer case. I'll give a $6.75; let a boy have his dream.

NICE 🙂

Also, I want to see you rub your new shiny case into Kurt's face because he has the homeless man's version.

This is an $80.00 computer case, not a house; or even a car...

But let's break it down: That case would easily last Bart at least 8 years (likely longer), as he can always just update the internals (MoBo, CPU, GPU, RAM, PS etc) as time/technology progresses. So we're looking at about a $10.00 a year investment over the next 8 years to keep his expensive internal components cool, clean and safe.

That sounds like a wise investment to me, friendo.

up, exactly

good pc case is an investment for life as long as you keep the MOBO's architecture the same, while poor ones can break when you make frequent changes to the stuff, have shitty cooling, have dust destroying your parts, etc

I think we've just proven that computers is yet another subject of which Kurk is ignorant of 👆

dipshit, I can use some old freebie Dell tower case and accomplish the same thing.

To be clear, is this a bare-bones case? I can't read Polish.

If so, yeah this is a stupid waste of money. Put the difference towards components that actually matter.

Dust contamination is overrated. As long as nothing overheats, dust is harmless.

I'm glad my first ITX case was a cheapie cuz guess what? When I built my second one I downsized to a micro-atx and got rid of the old case.

My next one will be a mini-ITX and this current tower will be useless and worthless.

Large towers are a waste of money unless you genuinely need the space for more hardware than the average bloke would need.

If that were the case, why did you spend $19.99 on a case; then modify it if you could do better with one that is free? Durr......
