Who organizes them? And how are they treated? These are issues liberals should be concerned about, considering many of them come from fascist regimes.

And it's an unfortunate fact that many women from poor countries are trafficked for sex work, such as from Ukraine or Thailand.

The fact is, we don't know anything at all about these caravan's, or the trafficking services that bring people over. They could very well be debt slaves, or worse, for all we know about it.

And thinking it over, the public narrative is perfect for slave traders, because it stops us from asking these questions. If you're a liberal, you only care if they have free access to come and go. The details of how this is done isn't even on your mind.

And if you're a conservative, you're all about deporting every immigrant in sight. As a trafficker, this affects you not at all. No one is looking at YOU... And what do you care if some of the people you trafficked get deported? More where they came from, and you could always re-smuggle them back into the country.

The important thing, is no one is pressuring to look into the operations themselves. They get to operate in the shadows, with no oversight or regulations, and no one at all taking the interests of the immigrants over the various systems that exploit them. It's a dream, if your business is human debt slaves.

You can target corperations but even that only goes so far. Most of the Guatemalans in the town I grew up in in South Florida lived completely off the grid and got paid under the table in cash for day labor or else used someone else's social to do construction work etc.

INS raids, deportations, etc were not at all unheard of. The risk is still worth it compared to living in Guatamala where work is hard to come by and gangs will terrorize your neighborhood and recruit your kids at an early age.
