Which company's magic and magical beings are more powerful on average? Who is the most powerful magic user in both companies?

I don't think angels use magic in strict sense.

DC generally has the more powerful magic; whether it be demons, mages, etc... that's DC's thing.

I wouldn't even say Marvel is greater in cosmic beings, either. DC has more powerful beings and races, over all. That list that's been floating around for several years shows this.
