Groot vs Predator (like either the one from the 1987 film or the Super Predator)

Can Groot survive this before it's too late?!

Round 1: Predator from 1987 movie

Round 2: Super Predator

Either Pred can easily stalk and kill/disable Groot

In a fight where Groot is aware, then Groot stomps

Does Groot even give off a heat signature?

Possibly not but the Preds have shown many different ways to track prey

They can easily hunt groot down but only the Super pred has a chance of winning an actual fight.

Both get impaled and/or decapitated. Groot is just too strong and relentless.

The Predator franchise ended with Predators. I know not of what you speak

I don't think Predator standard weapons can significantly damage a mature Groot.

As others have claimed, I agree, an awared Groot would end the predator.
