Don't know anything about this story aside from Cortez saying she was given a heavy work load to keep her out of the spotlight or something.

She said she and ilhan omar and the tlaib woman were being targeted cuz they were women of color. Do you think that is true?

I'd have to know more specifics, did something questionable also happen to those two other women.

They're certainly all women and they are of a color, so that part is correct, but gut instinct tells me she didn't like being given the work so she's likely reaching.

If it is exactly as you say, then yes, Cortez is being a stupid ass here. Pelosi wouldn't go after her because she's a Brown minority, someone like McConnell or Trump would.

The implication here seems to be Nancy is going to cause death threats against AOC lol.

I love it, they KEEP eating each other lol. The House Democrats official twitter account dug up a 2 week old tweet from AOC's chief of staff where he calls a female democrat woman of color racist. Well no, he says she isn't racist, but her votes enable a racist system lol. It's almost important to remember AOC recently accused Pelosi of targeting women of color. So, the House Democrats screen cap the tweet and say this:

“Who is this guy and why is he explicitly singling out a Native American woman of color,” the Caucus tweeted along with a screenshot of Chakrabarti’s comments accusing Davids of enabling racism. “Her name is Congresswoman Davids, not Sharice. She is a phenomenal new member who flipped a red seat blue. Keep her name out of your mouth.”

And yes, that final sentence has a clap emoji between each word. Giggle.
