Let's talk Iran.
Are they lying? Or did they really uncover a spy ring?
Trying to look at this from their position, what could they do if we DID mess with their government? About what they're doing now, I'd guess. We'd, of course, deny it, and they'd try and do whatever they can to leverage some countries they can't possibly defeat militarily.
But I see no benefit from them to lie and antagonize nations like this, if there is no truth to their side.
The Iranian people (youth in particular) are some of the most well-educated in the world. If you went to Tehran you would realize that most do not agree at all with the Islamic rulers' position against the USA, and don't want war.
Please do not make the mistake of associating the position that a government takes with those of all its citizens.
The best move IMO, is to maintain sanctions on Iran until their economy--which is crippled atm anyway--finally collapses and internal unrest leads to the fall of the Islamic Republic.
Only a sociopath would wish for the mass-bombings of innocents.
And yes, their women are actually quite attractive. Just look at the photos pre-revolution.

The US obviously has spies in Iran, now are they the people Iran claims to have uncovered? No idea.
Trump is keeping tensions with Iran on the back burner, if his numbers drop too far, he’ll pick a fight and claim war is looming to try and boost his numbers. Sheep love falling in line when it comes to a war.
