They're not great, but they're a massive step-up from previous super-fights in Supergirl, imo. It shows real improvement I think.

I can't speak to that cuz I don't really watch Supergirl, but I can confirm I've seen better fights on a show that ended 8 years ago(Smallville).

I really doubt that, but, having never watched Small like i’ll give you the standard agree to disagree, as I thought the Crisis Supes fight was just fine.

Smallville never even had Clark throw a punch. He just shoved his opponents at superspeed.

Most of the time yeah cuz that was all it took. There were some fights where he did throw punches though when it came to beings near or on his level.

The Incredible Hulk never threw a punch on his 70s TV show really.

70s Wonder Woman either.

Batgirl was never shown getting punched on the 60s Batman TV show. She was once punched by invisible flunked, but again, it wasn’t actually shown.

Hadn’t thought of that till just now.

I'm so damn angry and offended batgirl never got punched in the face.

I can see that.

Batman punched people all the time. Wonder why he got past the censors?

Maybe the sound effect captions, covering it up, but could have sworn they didn't do those on every punch.

Honestly, the logic behind censorship’s never made sense to me.

TMNT never used their edged weapons on people in the old cartoon.
Wolverine almost never stabbed anyone in X-Men TAS (he did slash non-humans a fair bit though).
Spider-Man TAS had no guns (almost always lasers), and I think he rarely punched people either though it's been a while.

Yeah, it's dumb.

Spider-Man never punched anyone. Word has it, it was an act of sabetoge from some executive that didn't support the show or producer, and did everything in his power to end it despite strong ratings.

The TV show?
I can’t even remember it... 😕

90's Cartoon. The one that crossed over with Fox X-men.

As opposed to the 80's one, that also did an X-men thing with a Cajun sounding Wolverine.

I think she needs to be punched, because feminism. Equals rights, lefts, hooks, uppercuts, etc.

My only problem was her being one of the paragons without her really doing as much as the other heroes to earn it. Felt forced.

Yeah at least Ryan Choi was a Prophet once! 😛

So future Batman was less DKR, and more Metal.

Not just in the cyborg parts. Wonder if that was an intentional Dark Multiverse pun.
