You're missing the correlation between strength and agility, Thor leaps (not flys) leaps between flying space ships, he's more agile than Cap.

In that case Cap certainly wasnt more impressive. Thor disarmed Thanos. Cap didnt.

And Grimes has already shown us the difference in the two fighting side by side against Thanos Minions.
