just a knife? with the range advantage, hard to see digger losing this, given the standard starting distance..... give him a gun and it becomes a lot tougher call.

Frank dodges the first throw but then gets caught on the way back because literally nobody in comics seems to be able to comprehend what the **** a boomerang does.

Evil geniuses who build time machines, take over multiple dimensions, make super robot suits, magical spells etc. commonly get beat by people carrying ****ing shields, hammers, and knives or sticks.

does someone hate frank coz he dies rather quickly

Depends on how many boomerangs Digger has, and if he goes for the killshot.

Otherwise, I can see Frank with a ton of boomerangs embedded in his back (obv not counting trick rangs) bullrushing Digger and biting his face off.
