Why has KMC become so UScentric

When I look back on the KMC of the past, perhaps it's my imagination but the world and world views figured in the GDF far more, has the forums demographic changed so much?

This site has always been US-Centric.

Even when we had far more British posters (and a few Indian posters), almost all the GDF topics were still centered around the US.

I don't see the difference. In fact, I think we are better about including European politics these days compared to before because people like you, me, and Surtur post about non-US topics more often than the peak days of KMC.

I think we had more topics that stayed non, party political and I mean U.S. party political by that. Something like Abortion falls straight into party lines here. I actually have less of a problem with many religious posters, the party political zealotry means many arguments are never looked at objectively.

No, no, you're right about this. We are more Dem-vs.-GOP these days compared to before. But we do cover more non-US politics and news stories than we did back in the day.
