No he cant because GLs can also shield from telepathic attacks. Vixan can also utilize powers from the red to fight a TP attack. so there are 3 on team JLA that make him irrelivant.

Her control over wind will be useless as RT has superior control proven in a crossover that is cannon. Lihhrning isnt doimg anything to guy, HHM, Firestorm, Tornado and Vixa. Can also take on animal power that use electricity.

Admantium claws that firestorm can transmute into rubber, even if hisbold inability to transmute organics was still in play Logans admantium skeliton isnt organic.

Proof she can absorb the power of a device? If not Guy contains her in a construct and removes the air from it till she passes out. How can she touch an intangible MMH, or Firestorm and the elemental entity that possesses RT's android body isnt exactly something she can touch either so likely she'd only get what the physical android body has (if that is even possible given she has failed to absorb sentinels). So basically her four most powerful apponents her power to copy is useless on

A form thats also not organic isnt it? So again FS can transmute it to something less durable.

Who besides Batman do his optical beams threaten?
They wont do any damage to MMH, Firestorm, or Guy and Vixen has taken onnanimal powers to tank heat vision. If he does destroy RT's android form it doesnt actually cause any damage either. His tactical ability isnt in line with Batman's so its not an issue worth note.

Maintain your assution all you want, its wrong

Exactly.

As originally compiled, the JLA team is simply more formidable than the X-men team. Not just that, but several of the people on the X-men team (eg Cyclops, Wolverine and Colossus) are TOTALLY useless while others like Storm and Rogue would be MOSTLY useless. Professor X is a strong telepath, but the issue for him is MM is a higher level telepath (on top of having the basic powers of Superman, Plastic Man and the Invisible Woman ADDED on top) and there are several people on the JLA team who are immune to telepathy anyways.

I know some people don’t want to hear ‘stomp,’ so I will use ‘smash’ in favor of the JLA.

Are there X-men teams that can defeat standard JLA teams? Absolutely, yes! But those are rare teams - very rare. Not because JLA is better than X-men, but simply because of how DC approaches teams versus Marvel.

Marvel teams are more of a family that have each person bringing something in, than when you add it together you end up with a beautiful oiled machine. See your typical team with, for example, Cyclops leading, Storm backing, Colossus, Prof X and Jean, Bobby, Logan, etc etc. They are EACH bringing something unique (even Prof X and Jean are a bit different with Prof bringing in telepathy and JG backing it up with hers, but also bringing telekinesis). Colossus brings muscle. Wolvie brings close quarters capability, Storm brings flight and long range attacks like wind and lighting, Iceman backs up her winds with ice, Cyclops brings strategy and long range attacks. I can even add QuickSilver, who is not a regular since he is on other teams, but he would bring in super speed.

They stack up on each other and add up to give a team that covers all the bases. Each person bringing something unique.

The JLA on the other hand is more of a professional team comprised of people who EACH have the abilities of entire X-men teams in themselves. Take Superman - his heat vision fills the role of Cyclops’ eye blasts (but much stronger), his strength fills the role of Colossus’ (but much stronger), his force breath fills the role of Storm’s winds and her ability to fly (but much ....you get the drift), his speed fills the role of QuickSilver, his ice breath fills the role of Ice Man, etc.

Kal El by HIMSELF is an X-men team in ONE person.

Then you take MM ....basically everything I put for Superman, but now add telepathy that is strong enough for him to cover the entire planet, invisibility, intangibility, shape shifting!

And those are just two of the JLA members.

By the time you add the others, you have gods and demi-gods and demons, high level master magicians that can turn Adamantium to paper just by speaking backwards, people who can evacuate entire cities using super speed in a fraction of a fraction of a second while a nuclear weapon is going off, reality manipulators of a high level, people who control all animal life (including mythical animals like dragons and Sun Eaters), people who can use a ring to make anything they imagine come true, aliens of all sorts.

And a human being who’s the biggest Mary Sue of them all.

DC and Marvel simply approach teams in VERY different ways.

Marvel is more realistic (at least, for comics).

DC simply says ‘yes’ to power sets, with powers being stacked ON INDIVIDUALS rather than ACROSS A TEAM.

Which is why the standard X-men team simply cannot compare with the standard JLA team.

To show the granularity of X-men teams, I should have included Angel. A character that for a long time ONLY had the ability to FLY and nothing else, before they weaponized him and made his feathers blades.

Think about that. For a time his only ability was flight, and with that one ability he would bring something to the X-men.

Compare that with the JLA, where most of the team has flight (and high level flight) as a basic ability.

Very different approaches to teams.
