I wasn't disappointed with the last sequence I enjoyed Neo tking missiles etc
I'm wondering though if my expectations were just so low after 2 and 3 a relatively poor film just exceeded them. This wasn't 1999 😂
They tortured and mutilated me for 9/11 and it wasn't even me and they did EMP the other UFO on 51 that caused their own problems.

Toni and me are Goku & Vegeta

Or James and Amos

Tried to watch it for a 2nd Time incase I missed something but had to turn it off at 90 minutes cause its pure boredom....

Buggs is a crappy and uninteresting character same goes for New Morpheus and Smith.

Neil Patrick Harris felt like he brought his Barney character over From How I met your mother...

is this worth it to watch free

This guy.

Is a new Matrix movie worth watching for free.

That's refreshing.
Edit: Oh, dropped down to 67% as of now, but both critics and audiences feeling decent about it is still a breath of fresh air.

As for the film itself, surprisingly enjoyed it more than I thought I would, once I got to the 2nd half at least. Agree though that the action scenes weren't the best by series' standards.

It's too early to rely on those scores.

Good to hear.

Damn. That sucks.

One would think that should be a walk in the park with Keanu's Wick experiences, today's CGI and everything...

I could not get into this, turned it off after about 75 mins.

I believe this film was bad. Us as fans were screwed from the jump

just watched

film is 2 and a half hours too long

storyline sucked

the acting and the fight scenes were not that good

WTF was WB thinking

Jesus Henry Christ, I finally get to see it this evening. This wait has been brutal.

I had to wait because I wanted to see it on the big screen and my parents couldn't watch our kids until today...

😂

First of all, I'm used to people trashing the Matrix sequels.

Also, given the source here at KMC ("drooling retards" as Imp so eloquently put it, haha) I don't really care.

I just have to wait and see it for myself. "Make up my own damn mind."

Better than every MCU film this year

Yeah. I do think the whole highway chase/fight scene in Matrix 2 and the final Neo and Smith fight in Matrix 3 are hard scenes for the Matrix to top itself in fairness, but not impossible. If there is another film, I expect better action than what we had in Matrix 4 here. I didn't think all the new fight scenes were that bad, just kinda subpar. And the first half of the movie was just either padding or relying on nostalgia of the first film. Some of it was to be expected, but was a bit much still.

Yeah, IDGAF what many here say on something I haven't yet seen, and in often cases even after I see said film. I honestly don't recall a single recent film that some users here actually enjoyed. Every thread I view here is just some hate bangwagon from the usual posters I come across.

MCU film threads are the main exception to this, and while I watch and enjoy most of them too, I tend to be late on seeing some like Spider-Man No Way Home that I haven't seen yet, though have been wanting to but I often don't view most of those threads as a result to avoid spoilers. I do have my criticisms with this new Matrix like the other films, but wouldn't go as far as to say there's nothing good about it like some seem to imply. Maybe I'm not as harsh as I should be on it because I've been letdown much worse by other recent films, but Matrix 4 was okay imo. Not great, just okay, but if you get more out of it, then happy for you.

I was blown away. My favorite MCU film of the year by a massive margin.

No such thing. NWH has a chance to become the highest grossing film domestically all time without adjusting for inflation.

MCU fatigue my ass.
