The fact that it took SSB Gogeta to beat Broly, and afterward Goku still only stated that Broly was "probably" stronger than Beerus, tells you that Beerus is still being scaled up massively.

There's a reason Goku STILL uses him as a measuring stick, after all...

Moro also couldn't absorb Buu's energy. Who knows if he can absorb Destruction energy, or if even trying to contain his power kills him.
