It's not really a bingo in this case though because it brings up all kinds of other questions.
You can laugh, but I've known women who legitimately have gotten very depressed about their bodies. We're talking more than just being afraid to look in a mirror.
If these women were imprisoned...say, one was given a 5 year sentence, what then? If it's her nose that makes her depressed, do we give her a nose job? What if she wants a tummy tuck? Or a face lift? Or some boobies? Or butt implants? What if a doctor says "butt implants will help her emotional well being"(I will note prison doctors did *not* say this about this inmate, that the surgery would help)?
And I wonder if this person was given ANY sort of therapy prior to this. And as I said: the treating physicians advised against this. The attorneys are saying he needs it(surely they are doctors who also work as attorneys every other Friday).
