US attorney recommends proceeding with charges against McCabe, as DOJ rejects last-ditch appeal

An interesting turn of events. Good.

I’m not to sure about how it works with US attorneys but they are appointed by the President, not by the DOJ, so if they want to indict someone by impaneling a grand jury they still are about to?
