It still depends on knowledge and prep. Those hicks survived cuz other people died first and they were slowly learning about the creatures.

The only circumstance of the fight we know is it takes place in Mexico. So okay, where does Rambo start the fight in relation to the graboids? What equipment does Rambo have?

The Graboid would sense Rambo's Alpha status and just leave the area, going after easier prey like Mexican farmers. Which would make Trumper's happy.
