Summer Holidays...?
I'm not having a summer holiday this year, mainly due to the impending arrival of our 2nd child, tentively sexed as a little girl by the ultrasound nurse for those who are interested in such things.
So, I thought this could be the chance for some of you out there to make me jealous by sharing your holiday destinations for Summer 2001. Also, just to keep it interesting you might like to tell us why you are going to your chosen destination.
Speaking as a poor Jedi Padawan, I'm a bit confused by all these recent high-up comings and goings... EJ seems to be on the counter quite a bit for someone who is gone. I respect you, buddy! You were a Council Member, after all...
I may take some time this summer to go somewhere quiet in Norfolk and work on a book,as I simply must get publishers interested in something of mine soon... trouble is, the Net is world-wide and I'm always going to be distracted by posting to this place!
No summer holiday this summer. Have a little one to take care of and around 5 months I think she is to young to travel. I`m gonna take my "dad leave" in July an entire month to do nothing but relax with he little one. Havent have more than two weeks off work the last 6 years , so these 4 weeks gonna be welcomed. Save travels to those who are going on a journey.🙂

Tommy & me are going to Cape Hatteras for a week at the end of August, just to get away mostly, but we're waiting until then cause that's when the big shrimp start coming in. We can get fresh (with heads) jumbo size for about $3.50 a pound at the industrial park in Wancheese where the commercial fisherman come in. We usually bring home about 30-50 pounds (some for friends & relatives). Then about the third week of September, my sister and I go to Ocean City Maryland for a week together. This will be our fifth year. All the teenagers are gone (I apologize to the teens here, no offense 🙂 ) A lot quieter in the off season. That's about it.
