So why do gangs even exist?

Or in other words, why do governments allow them to exist?

Everyone thinks we have "black bag" agencies, with unlimited funding, who literally make people disappear. We have a recording of Malcom X talking to some feds, who outright tell him "We make people disappear".

You have like agencies in places like Israel, where they set up a kidnapping of a whistleblower who fled to England, and whisked him away back home.

Ok, so if there's these immoral, unethical, completely illegal G-Men out there, why doesn't one of them wake up and say "Hey, those viscous Columbian drug lords? We're gonna take off their head, and just make them all disappear."

"Make people disappear" is not equivalent to "make mass amount of affiliates in disparate organizations disappear."

Gangs aren't problematic for governments, charismatic figureheads are. Make Jimmy Hoffa disappear, not his entire support network.

US Constitution allows the right of free association/assembly. And it is also a free speech issue as well.

Being in a "club" does not automatically mean you're doing something illegal.

Also, not all gangs are a net negative to society.

I'm using the lazy common parlance to mean thugs, murderers, and thieves. Your benign motorcycle gang or other non violent groups, I have no problem with.

Cuz racist white people have made it so that brothers have no choice but to murder, rape and steal.

Then you end up violating the constitution. You must prove guilt of every last member. Assigning impropriety to an abstraction like a "gang" is not something you can prosecute. You can prosecute people.

Also, there is a manpower and resource issue. There's not enough police to patrol every corner at all times to discover improper gang activities.

Also, there's the problem of constitutional rights. You must get a warrant if you want to bust in homes. Warrants require probable cause and specifics to the crime/people/places involved.

If you want to make violent and criminal gangs less of a problem, resolve the underlying issues which drive young men to assemble into criminal organizations.

What part of the constitution allows kidnappings, or irradiation the food of conscientious objectors (As declassified documents prove happened).

Besides, we're talking g-men. Everyone knows about the black bag agency. Hardly even a conspiracy theory, there's documented examples of government either recommending atrocity (Operation Mockingbird? And if you say "They never went through with it", I'd reply "And they never should have considered it. At all. What happens when a president agrees to go through with it?"😉, or committing various crimes.

So if they can murder, rape, and steal like any gang would, why not just do it to people who clearly deserve it?
