If BA was same level with King Shazam, Then he didn't need his people prayer to take down him.Or at least will not be beaten so badly. And BA just reasoning with Billy not means he intentionally letting billy hurt him. BA isn't Superman(Or even Superheroes) type
Besides, BA and Shazam have always been portrayed as the same level, And king Shazam got power-ups

But he also stated he has learned a lesson from his people today. So he should be talking about today's incident( Fighting with king shazam) IMO
