Odin vs Thanos

I don't think Odin wanted to go back to Asgard, though.

That was a long period of time though. Hell he even made himself tired travelling to the frost giants realm to save Thor and the warriors 3 etc.

Still he did it on Asgard where he draws power from, yet he couldn’t get back from earth when Loki sent him there.

We know he *could* have gotten him back he just didn't. When the situation was truly dire he did sent Thor to earth using "dark power". So it's clear that before this he could easily teleport people, then bifrost was destroyed and it's not so easy but it can be done in very dire circumstances.

The bifrost wasn’t broken when Thor and went to Ice giants home to get revenge.

"Dark energy"

Presumably similar to what Heimdall did during IW, when he used "dark magic" to send Hulk to earth-

I'm saying the bifrost, for whatever reason, made it easier for him to teleport people. He didn't have to use dark magic to do it.

And we have no reason to believe he is weaker outside of Asgard.

Odin would shitstomp a no-stones Thanos with his powers.

I'd even argue that Odin could defeat a Thanos wielding a few gems, as the Titan 7 had Thanos beaten until Starlord threw a hissy fit.

Thanos ragestomps weak Odin who has no feats or contextto anything impressive we even heard about. Thanos would beat both he and Hela at the same time.

Forget Odin, how in the hell would Thanos beat Hela without any gems?

They would actually stomp him. He needed to rely on the stones to overpower Captain Marvel, and he needed his ships to bombard the field when Scarlet Witch was handing him his ass. Thanos without the stones is woefully lacking.

If Scarlet Witch could literally stomp him, what trouble would someone like Hela have lmao.

Yeah claiming Hela cant take a guy that both CM and SW can take is laughable.

There's a reason why Thanos avoided Asgard despite having the 'largest army in the galaxy', it's because Odin would have kicked his ass in.

^And that's not shitting on Thanos, he's extremely powerful in his own right, it's a testiment to Odin's true power.

It's kind of funny IMO. Purely via screen feats, he doesn't have that much to go on. But via dialogue and implied power, he is easily one of the most powerful characters in the MCU.

Odin conveniently died in Ragnarok so he wouldn't show up in Endgame and anally rape Thanos.
