The power of the Sparkle.

They're immortal and practically unkillable beings(except by very specific ways) and are just as supernatural as she is. Has Samara ever encountered another supernatural entity that she could harm and kill? Also as part of the OP, Bella is there and she makes anyone around her immune to psychic/mental attacks. On top of all of that, we don't even know her method of harming/killing people except that she can burn gruesome images into peoples heads, and goes off screen to actually kill anyone. So her one confirmed ability is rendered useless in Bella's presence.

Came here to get my daily dose of Edward Cullen. Was not disappointed.

I recommend the movie vs. forums as the #1 spot to find a Edward Cullen fight.

I thought it was vicious dismemberment?

Immortal is kinda vague, didn't the vampire dude from Twilight 1 get his arms and legs (and head) ripped off?

If he doesn't grow them back, then that's still a loss.

No, not dismemberment. She just is off-screen and looks at them or something and they die. Their faces get warped/disfigured as a result, but it's still pretty unclear what she does aside from burning images into brains, leaving burn marks on bodies, and the aforementioned death stare.

As for the vamp immortality, it's not vague at all. They will exist forever unless they are killed. Immortality is defined as "living forever, never decaying or dying", which is exactly what they are. They aren't invulnerable, but they are close.

As for dismemberment, in the movies yes it's possible to dismember vampires...if another vampire with similar or greater strength is the one doing the dismembering. Also it helps if they bite each other first as the venom weakens other vampires slightly. For themselves though, the venom can actually be used to reattach limbs. So even if for example she somehow found a way to take off an arm, they just lick the stump and slap it back on. But Samara would have to find a way past their speed which would render her extremely slow in their eyes, and get past Bella's brain shield.

She can teleport but yeah if they can re-attach limbs then it's a stalemate.

But actually it has been stated that some of Samara's abilities tend to prevent her victims from running/fleeing away.

Sounds like you're describing some sort of psychic ability, which Bella can shield against.

Then Bella might have the chance to survive this.

Samara wins this. As much as I love Edward to fangirl levels, he gets owned here.

Not Samara, but there was a movie crossover between the original iterations of the Ringu franchise and Ju-on. It's t titled Sadako vs Kayako. It's premiered on the subscription service Shudder. I haven't seen it, but it would be a direct case of supernatural entities crossing paths, if someone out there happens to have seen the movie (or its sequel!)

Of course, it's just as likely the movie has absolutely no actual confrontation between the characters, but if it did we'd at least have a basis for comparison. 😆
