Marvel has no answer for superman so they literally cant win.

When darkseid was dying, he somewhat took the multiverse/prime universe by surprise
1. He didn’t shout out that he was invading and collapsing the universe
2. He had the ALE

With that in mind, the question remain whether or not Marvel would be more quick to react to that, especially if you’re not including certain cosmic beings like LT. If this excludes universal beings like LT, Eternity..etc, I can see DS succeeding. It means he will actively create the same method of spreading the ALE effects to all.

It also means that Marvel won’t have Radion to kill DS the way Batman did.

they dont have any counter for the ALE.
they dont have radion to injure and weaken darkseid
they dont have the black racer to further strike him down (thx flashes)
they dont have the miracle machine to undo everything darkseid did
and most importantly- they dont have superman

once darkseid starts falling and dragging the multiverse down with him, no one in marvel is stopping it.
