I've wondered about this for quite some time. How would a child be born in the Matrix?

Why does no one respond to my threads? Are they stupid or something?

No, I think maybe the happy forum-goers around here tired of a thread, claiming Trinity was pregnant or some such nonsense.
As for your question. Who knows really? I suppose you’re asking how the child gets an digital self? Well, in the real world humans are grown, and to keep the crop healthy, the machines probably take an egg and sperm from the parent avatars pod-humans and voila. The child is born in a pod, and plugged into the Matrix.

then the program tell the parents who are in the matrix that the mother is pregnant, and there you go. it happens. pretty strange, though, that the mother can be giving birth and her son is in fact on the other side of the world to her.

and yes, when it says matrix children i nearly avoided it cos i though great. not another pregnant trinity thread 😉
