Beerus FTL Feat

2nd episode.

Whis was looking for food on a planet and Beerus was on his home world and somehow Beerus ended up on the planet with Whis who traveled there without him.

Who has more information on this feat. Did he teleport or did he fly through space on his own?

IIRC it's not elaborated upon.

Beerus can't teleport.

So how did he do that feat, just a one off?

Most likely.

Either that or it was just a production f*ck up that they missed. /shrug

Are you guys implying Beerus can't fly ftl under his own power?

It's not really being FTL that's the issue. Beerus being able to fly at a comparable speed to Whis's teleportation technique is what's strange.

Why is it strange. He’s a god for a reason.

Right, but his flight speed shouldn't be on par with an Angel's.

Maybe Whis teleported him. Or maybe they have some special way of instantly locating each other, so one can never ditch the other in performing their duties.

Is implying like stating?

'Cause I be implying emphatically.

You don’t know anything about DBZ👆

The ft is still there though. Took him 2 minutes to get there which is insane. Was anything said about Whis flying at his top speed to get there?

It's definitely/logically a FTL feat, but how *much* faster than light is unknown.

You'll see 'fan-calcs' out there putting Beerus' speed billions/trillions of times beyond c, based on that feat alone... But those calcs always rely on assumed distances that these people are arbitrarily pulling out of their ass. No specific distance was given in the episode; only the amount of time it took Beerus/Whis to travel there.

And no, it wasn't stated whether or not Whis was using his max travel speed in the episode... But we do know his travel speed can vary massively.

In episode 23, Whis states that it will take him ~35 minutes to fly from Beerus' world to earth. Fast-forward to episode 69, and Whis flies from Beerus' world to earth in ~10 seconds(by flying faster than ever before.)

Lol... how do you remember this stuff?

Because he’s Galan
