I always really liked Ush. He could be very stern sometimes but he was really funny and cool with me, had some good times with him in the mod lounge. And some of his posts were laugh out loud funny.
I like all the current mods a lot. Imp's super cool and I hope I can meet him someday.

Galan is just an all around good dude, though. Before and after mod powers. Once he stepped up I think he took his role seriously but never abused his power. But he was always reasonable.
Impediment may be the fairest mod in existence but his only problem is having a life outside of the site which resulted in the shit-fairies shitting up the place with the shittiness.
So, because of years of convos and much more familiarity, probably Galan and Impediement tied at first with Storm being second.
I never viewed Backfire as a mod. He's a friend who uses his mod powers when there's no other option. He's just a poster who rarely had to wield his mod powers. I still don't blame him for perma-banning Rogue Jedi: I warned RJ to not punch below the belt and even convinced him to delete his post the day prior. But they just kept going at it and he brought it up again. Oh well.
Paola is still super nice. I'm going to try to meet up with her next time I'm in Mexico. Storm is awesome too.

Some of the mods on this board took their positions WAAAAAAY too seriously and it ran people off.
I try to allow people to do as they please but with a modicum of rules and courtesy.

all of the active mods now seems really cool and laid back for the most part (which is great, and something you dont see on any other site/forum really), but i keep hearing the stories of the nazi esque mod regime from back in the day.
why do you think the demeanor of the mods has changed (for the better) over the years? have all you guys just been doing it for so long that you dont really feel the need to tighten the reigns as much now?
