How is holding the leadership responsible an example of scapegoating?
what should they have done, then? lockdown orders were put in place. no leaders in nj, to my recollection, have addresses covid-19 as a "hoax" and ignored advice on it for 2 months because "deep state"

Failure in leadership.
In Oklahoma, for example, people were out and about, shopping, doing their thing, almost no change in habits. Then many retail places closed. Then the mass hysteria and almost everybody went out. Still very little change in the data and habits.
We have dropped to almost 0 but they are still projecting us to hit daily death peak on May 1.
