Not really, DDM. He claimed injecting disinfectants does a tremendous number on the lungs as fact...

Anyhow, it was a stupid and careless comment. He should really let Pence take over the covid-19 briefings, while Pence is also a giant piece of shit, at least Pence speaks well and thinks before he speaks.

Hilarious Trump response to Yahoo for their false news. The vid starts with Dr. Birx clapping back against Yahoo news, as well:

Seems you're at a 7 and I'm at a 4 on the Trump stupidity scale with 1 being not stupid at all and 10 being as stupid as possible and it takes immense stupidity to land on a 10.

We just disagree on the degree. I think Trump got a briefing from real medical professionals and he was just too dumb to capture what they told him.

I agree, Pence should take over completely.

Being too stupid to properly relate medical information is a problem though, a potentially huge problem, especially from the POTUS during a pandemic.

Fair enough.

Indeed.

Which is why he should have overly emphasized that it needs to be done/go through medical professionals. His ego is just too huge to say, "I don't know too much about this but..."

Calls to poison control centers spike after Trump disinfectant comments

Poison control centers in a number of states have reported a rise in calls about exposure to household cleaners since President Trump made remarks suggesting that disinfectants should be looked into as a possible treatment for the coronavirus.

New York City's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene confirmed to NPR that the poison control center saw a rise in calls specifically pertaining to exposure to household cleaners within 18 hours of Trump’s remarks on Thursday.

Department spokesman Pedro Frisneda told the outlet that the center had recorded nine cases during that window that were “specifically about exposure to Lysol, 10 cases specifically about bleach and 11 cases about exposures to other household cleaners.”

That is more than double the number of cases the center recorded during the same period last year, according to NPR. -snip

But sure, words have no meaning or effect, even when it's from the POTUS and spoken across the entire country...

According to the Topeka Captial-Journal, "Kansas Department of Health and Environment secretary Lee Norman reported that poison control officials in Kansas have marked a 40% increase in the ingestion of toxic chemicals following remarks made by Trump, who seemed to suggest COVID-19 could be treated by injecting disinfectant. One man over the weekend drank a product 'because of the advice that he had received,' Norman said."

It must be all of those liberal Democrats in Kansas and their uncharitible interpretations taking advice from Trump and attempting to drink household cleaners.

Well democrats did take stuff meant for fish and one died.

And the saddest of the sad ate it up when the wife blamed Trump 🙂

Must be. Or it's all just a coincidence that Trump says "x" and people do "x" right after.

This may be the oddest conspiracy theory I've ever heard.

"The Chinese beat the Joo masters with their one weakness. Their hypochondriac paranoia. Genius! They fear disease more then they love money "

Points for originality.

There is literally no evidence to support that statement. There is one Red State article that states that the wife of the man who died was not a Trump supporter, but it does not provide any citation for that claim.

Right wing media at large does not appear to support that narrative either, opting instead to suggest that she used the hydroxychloroquine advice as a cover for poising her husband with whom she had a history of domestic violence.

But tell me more about all the sextogenerian liberal Democrats in Arizona by way of Iowa who have divorced and remarried one another, and take medical advice from Trump on Fox News.

There is evidence.

Don't die on this hill son. It never ends well 🙂

If he had evidence, he would have posted it already. This is his nonsense games and it will end with a pretend win post.

Anyhow, the only shining light here is that Trump is only hurting his own supporters. Not a good thing in of itself as they're still people, but at least it's his own worshipers being harmed and they're the ones who bought tickets for the ride.

Hopefully they learned by now not to trust Trump's medical and medicinal claims.

The evidence was posted before you sad souls 🙂

More accurate assessment:

"Kansas Department of Health and Environment secretary Lee Norman reported that poison control officials in Kansas have marked a 40% increase in the ingestion of toxic chemicals following the outright lies many news outlets reported Trump saying."

Edit - Trump already said it but I'll say it again - Trump should have said Hydroxychloroquine + Zinc wasn't effective at all in treating cororanvirus.

I love that you think they are concerned with accurate statements.
