Weird how D.C. is yellow when it's like the most urban area of the country.

I don't understand how Italy canNOT avoid cross contamination. Some cities in Italy smell like sewage. The whole damn city.

I do wonder, though...they should look into this water thing. I wonder if there is a direct link between sewage and water supply contamination.

2000+ year old sewage systems will do that 😄

Yeah, was noted that it unfortunately could be higher by end of the month. Look at all the Red in many of the "Heartland of America" states. Not good.
it's bloody sad, people should apply Science and avoid youtube libertarians imho.

Yeah, read a story of protestors protesting police violence being beaten and/or shot. Scary shit. Stay safe.

Well, here is some research that doesn't match with what I thought about the coronavirus:

Population density is not correlated with COVID-19 mortality. We've been told that population density causes the virus to spread but that does not appear to be true:

A new study suggests that denser places, assumed by many to be more conducive to the spread of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, are not linked to higher infection rates. The study, led by a researcher at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, also found that dense areas were associated with lower COVID-19 death rates.

And the economic recovery in Blue States is significantly lagging behind Red States. Purple States are between the two:

Just the News found that 9 of the 10 states with the lowest unemployment rates are are led by Republican governors (Montana, led by Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock is the lone exception). In startling contrast, 9 of the 10 states with the highest unemployment rates are led by Democrats (the exception being Massachusetts, led by Republican Gov. Charlie Baker, a critic of President Trump).

Dems used the filibuster to kill the coronavirus relief bill.

https://twitter.com/senatemajldr/status/1318973782606946310

From Turtle-Mitch:

Senate Democrats just used the filibuster — which they say they dislike — to kill another coronavirus relief package.

Unemployment benefits. PPP. Testing. Vaccines. School funding. Protections for people with pre-existing conditions.

Every Democrat just voted to block it all.

What's going on? That all seems like stuff the Dems would support. What's the other side of the story? Surely the MSM has some talking points already prepared for the absurdly-wetahted TDS morons? What did they spoon feed you TDS folks?

Mitch and the GOP put out a skimmed down shit bill they knew wouldn't pass so they can then say "but we tried":

Ok, so just got back from the test. Was told it would take a couple of days before I'd hear back, and would probably be through text message. Fingers crossed.

As for the other members of my family that's living in the house... My sister (18) is fine. If she has it, then like me she's largely asymptomatic. My mother has a bit of a cough, but otherwise. My father... is not great. There's a chance he might just have the flu, but for now he's isolating himself. Either way it's the worst flu I've seen, and hopefully his test tomorrow is encouraging.

My brother (the person who brought it in to the damn house) is... well, for someone that's usually healthy enough that the worst thing he suffers from is a hangover... he's, in Irish slang "in bits". It's like someone gave him a flu, food poisoning and a coughing disease I don't know the name of. He barely eats, and when he does, he throws up a fair bit.

I don't think he's in danger of dying or anything, but he's young. Younger than me even. It's those of us that are older/ill/compromised that have to be careful. And I do not want what he's having.
