I'd be curious if those who protested also got tickets for not social distancing.
They always defended their outdoor "protests" with "most are wearing masks" lol.
It's funny because it's so asinine. There was never any type of clause that said "You do not need to social distance if you have a mask". In fact we are told masks are most effective when people are social distancing.
And in the USA some of these same democrat leaders who enforced lock downs joined in with the anti-cop protests. Nobody here could come up with a valid defense of that, in fact I think all the usual suspects ignored it all together. Which was the right move, what could they really say?
Oklahoma appears to be over the hump. Since lockdowns are not being implemented again, like Sweden discovered, there's nothing you can do about this other than delay the inevitable.
But we appear to be over the hump and see a sharp drop in cases. Very strong correlation between percent positive and total new cases and future deaths. Oklahoma City has the issue of being a "fat people" city so we have what I consider a higher rate of deaths per million people than most other cities.
I think we're going to see some massive spikes over the next month.
There'll be a spike after Halloween possibly. Then as we get closer to Thanksgiving you'll have a lot of people be stupid and we'll see Thanksgiving spikes in cases.
Maybe even triggering calls for another lockdown which will cause a huge backlash of people not wanting to miss Christmas gatherings. Which will cause another spike going into the new year.
I hope I'm wrong but man people have been dumb during this.

In Ireland, because so much of our population goes abroad for work etc, there's an absolutely massive influx of people "coming home for Christmas" every year. It's gonna be a nightmare.
Unless of course they institute a travel ban.

Alot of ppl have been foolish about this in the USA but I don't expect alot of rational responses to situations like these when the govt wants to take away things like incomes from forced social distancing and closing of businesses and then they refuse to take care of the ppl they essentially punish by shutting them down🙁

If only the organization best suited to help wouldn't be bogged down by a bunch of conservatives that would allow other people to die on the entitlement hill for them to be "right"
