It wasn’t a true stalemate iirc , they blasted each other and that was about it. Apocalypse had the upper hand on HE, and Apoc doesn’t have much chance against V&V Despero.

It wasn't a true stalemate, as HE did get bfr'd to Negative Zone in the end... but before that, they matched each other's blasts and looked pretty even.

Quasar has stalemated Galactus as he regularly jobs. Plus G was hungry/weak when he face HE.
