I was never very impressed by Voldemort.
He was a minion using schemer who relied on his rep to instill fear.
Going w. overrated Sith Lord number 3.
I mean, Palpatine AND Snoke both relied on planet destroying weapons to instill fear it's not like the galaxy was all "this f*cker can shoot lightning lets obey him!". It was the massive massive armies(minions? lackeys?) and the advanced technology. If Voldemort had all that *plus* his magic he'd rule for decades too.
Voldemort could turn Snoke into a tea cup with a flick of his wrist. Snoke didn't show impressive TK that I recall. He showed some lightning and no impressive speed so it's not like we can say "neck snap before voldemort reacts" or something.

Voldemort wins because Snoke was but a mere baby yearning to be an adult. He would throw temper tantrums when his daddy Palpatine ordered him the happy meal from a futuristic McDonald’s. That one song by Smash Mouth played when he got the toy he wanted, but it was a bittersweet emotion within him since he liked toys, but hated being a toy himself; father figures are meant to instill good behaviors in their children and it was at that point that daddy Sidious finally let him cry on his shoulder. What a good mom.
Voldemort for the win.
The high end wizards in HP are pretty powerful. It's true a death curse doesn't end every fight, but it's actually not very common for characters to have resistance to soul rips or transmutation. Physical toughness doesn't come into play necessarily. Though I do not support no limit fallacies either there are limits.
Plus they could teleport anywhere in the world and Grindelwald's spell would have supposedly destroyed all of Paris if it wasn't stopped.
Physically the wizards aren't tough, but then again Hermione mentions spells that amp physical stats...they just never learn them and we never see any wizards who use them.

Well Voldemort liked self *soul* mutilation. He aspired to it as a teen.I mean hey he grew up as an orphan during the depression AND he was conceived via rape magic. The guy never had a chance.
Voldemort really did want to cut his pieces though. He didn't know the spell or owned the Griffindor sword to slice him up.
In the ancient fields where predestination spawned as a need to fulfill itself, the seeds of Voldemort’s dire choice laid bare; Voldemort willed himself to lose the battle eons ago. Voldemort already won since he chose his own fate: who else can even lay claim to such a feat? None, I tell you.
Voldemort wins unless Snoke turns into his inner baby and summons his daddy Palps.
