Goku said that Broly was "probably" stronger than Beerus. So in terms of raw power output, they're probably close, but Broly has the edge.
That being said, I'm sure Beerus is a vastly superior fighter, so that could help make up for the difference in power.
I also wonder how Broly would handle a true Hakai..? mmm

Would Beerus even use one in a fight?
He didn't use one on Goku. I bet there's rules against using that power for any personal reason.
I mean, erasing a planet is about cosmic balance. But a brawl?
Beerus is more powerful and better in every way. What Goku said is really irrelevant. Goku is not on the level to sense the full power of Beerus, only what he has experienced in their fight, which was Beerus using ridicuously low power level and based on that is making assumptions. No kidding, Beerus doesn't have trouble in defeating Broly.

...And in the manga, Goku has seen/sensed Beerus' full power. You could also argue that the manga is more canon than the anime given that Toriyama himself is much more directly involved in it, but that's neither here nor there.

It's just that i don't believe Goku, and still waiting the rematch or some statement from someone like Whis where Goku stands compared to someone like Beerus.
