MCU: How does the franchise redeem the Hulk?

After Age of Ultron and Ragnarok Hulk was probably the closest to top form, with Ragnarok being a good show for the classic Thor fights. But with the Russo’s disregard for power levels for the sake of their narrative, Hulk didn’t have much aside from jobbing to Thanos and a deleted scene with Cull. With She Hulk entering production and according to the Russo’s still keeping his injury from the Snap, how do you think Disney will fix the hulks jobber status? Are you expecting him to be more of a mentor role to Jen, or do you ever think we’ll see him emerge Savage Hulk or WB Hulk levels as Banner tries to maintain his humanity?

What would you do to improve the character if you had the director reins?

Make him scary and out of control like he was in the first Avengers movie.

Nothing, he’s fine.

Hulk for me, peaked in Age of Ultron and has been on going downhill ever since. He was funny in Ragnarok, sure, but he wasn't the legitimately scary thing we had been warned about in the movies leading up to AoU.

They really need to bring back the Jekyll and Hyde aspect of the character, imo.

There is the rumour that

Spoiler:
they will introduce Immortal Hulk to MCU and have Wolverine fighting him in his first appearance.

Of course, it's still too early and we'll be reading plenty of other rumours before - and if - it happens.

That sounds like pure fanboy-ism! 😂

just keep killing bane

^^^well that’s a given!

Hulk was so f*cking nerfed in Endgame.

I was aching to see something like Wanda "turning Banner off", like Jean Grey did in "Onslaught", and letting only the Savage Hulk go wild.

Technically, Hulk wasn't even present in Endgame.

It was Banner in Hulk's body.

I get that they went with Professor Hulk in Endgame, But even that version in the comic's still raged out.

Make him kill himself.

you don't redeem hulk coz you don't want to satisfy message board rage... 😄 😄 😄 😄 😆 😆

They went with Banner Hulk, actually.

Professor was a different beast - a unique mix of Savage, Fixit and Banner.

The writers referred to him as Smart Hulk.

Doesn't matter what they called him, it was clearly Banner. Not some new personality or a merge.

It does matter. Because they created this incarnation. Not the comics.

Is that the one that

Spoiler:

It's the current one, Pr.

You know, scans and comments are posted everywhere, in the forum you post most often durhulk

Spoiler:
He comes out when night begins. It has nothing to do with being asleep, Banner can be fully awake or f*cking dead at the time, it won't matter. He will still transform.

He apparently overcame that nighttime limitation too, but I need to read up on that.

It's actually the Devil Hulk personality, fyi. Same Devil Hulk that was introduced two decades ago.
