Simple question. When push came to shove, Batman chose Superman's reflexes, not WWs. Lip service is great and all, but it's clear who he chose when he needed it.

Edit: also, check the scans. Superman has the advantage in raw speed. He's faster.
WW is faster because she has muscle memory. So if it's something she hasn't trained for (or trained to the same level as her fighting) she's slower.

Using the sacrifice fight is a good look for Diana, but doesn't have the substance you would need to prove she is actually "superior" to Superman.
there is a lot of context to that encounter, but it was certainly a good look for Diana regardless.
I think the fight goes differently if he knew who he was fighting and still really wanted to harm her. It helped her that he thought she was Doomsday.
Maybe trying to wrap her in her own lasso at super speed for example,something he would never think to do fighting Doomsday.
