I'm not going to argue it but that doesnt make one bit of sense. New 52 Supes is canon to current Supes. ALL of his showings are canon which imo means that confrontation took place since we know Superman wasnt just swinging at air when that happened. Lol... you cant just erase that story, you're going to have to erase a lot of JLA showings, Titans showings, anything that version of Zod showed up in. Good luck dissecting that.
