is Ursa more powerful than Faora? I dunno much about them, I'd imagine them to be pretty equal due to similar kryptonian physiology

Faora's good showings were mostly in pre-crisis no?

I didn't even see the composite feats part, jesus, going pre-crisis kryptonians is spite. I was only considering the New 52 Faora [that has been retconned out of existence] and Ursa that has done stuff like this:

- beats the utter shit out of him
- destroys his construct in a single punch

- Lor-Zod [teenager] easily tanks Green Lanterns energy projection
- Ursa's heat vision plows through Kilowog's construct

Ursa completely plows through Kilowog's and two other Green Lanterns' attempt to restrain her, and then beats the utter shit out of them:

Suffice to say, she doesn't need to be composite.

yeah ursa and zod were outnumbered yet they kick the crap out of green lanterns. still mad the writer did kyle disservice like that (granted kryptonians were amped by 2 suns)

👆

It's hard to judge her otherwise, since she hasn't really been in another place.

Ursa beating straight up legit bloodlusted Supergirl in New Krypton was quite impressive, too.

New Krypton started out so well, then War of Superman got me mad triggered

tens of thousands kryptonians dying in space under red sun, the worst outcome the writer can think of

I hated New Krypton with a passion when it came out [and I still do] but, having Bendis on makes me almost see it in a better light. The finale was still awfully rushed.

I only hated the ending of the new krypton arc
bendis superman runs are just boring as fuk, especially action comics, it was already bad before, now with Romita on art 😘
I will say this, he does write a high end superman power wise though

speaking of Faora, the Superman/Wonder Woman book was retconned right? it was terrible writing too

Yeah, Faora no longer even exists as a character, and neither does Diana and Clark's romance.

Bendis is writing 10 books and each one of his is about 1 page of normal comic book material. This entire Superman arc where he fights Mongul for 5 issues would have literally been 4 panels in a Morrison compressed ideas comic.

I'd rather read JMS Superman walking across america aimlessly like a bum for lulz, than Bendis'

You just reminded me of JMS quitting because nobody liked it, then Chris Roberson coming in and having Flash reality-warp entire cities instantly with his speed, and then Superman tracking and catching him. So at least something good came out of that 👆

In all of that period, there's a very underrated run -- that of Paul Cornell's. Where at the end Lex gains ultimate power, and all he has to do is not hate Superman to keep it, but he can't help himself, lol.

ahh yes, phantom zone lex

we got to see the beautiful Death of the Endless too

honestly I liked Reign of the Doomsdays that followed this

I also liked Robinson's Mon-El storyline back in like 08

edit: back in 2010

Robinson was like Bendis, but with even worse dialogue, imo.

Legit retarded.

He did get a lot better once World of New Krypton started.

😂

That was funny as fuk, Clark being lame as always throwing frisbee in space. Hal reisisting the urge to tell Clark about his lust for jailbait poons

😂

Imagine Superman finding out Hal banged Kara.
