The three abstracts are more or less equals. One represents the Big Bang, one represents the Big Crunch, and one represents the Big Freeze (ie entropy and the heat death of the universe). And yes, it was a monstrous showing for the post Hickman Starbrand.

Modern SB was a mistake, Hickman didn't know what he was doing, as usual.

To be fair, the classic users actually knew what they were doing and were skilled with it, even this inexperienced scared version still took on 3 abstracts

Do you mean do I think he wins it for the Avengers? I don't know. I don't know how he'd do against a massive psi attack that the mutant team is capable of dishing out. In terms of raw power, Starbrand is leagues above anyone on either team.
