carver stans for anime characters. He also is of the opinion that Saitama would curbstomp a team consisting of Thor, WBH, (presumably Superboy) Prime, Superman, and Juggernaut.

He hasn't even read those, he's pretty much exclusively an anime watcher. Psycho gundam has caught him on his shenanigans when he tried to use an anime-only line as evidence for Saitama's durability that did not occur in the manga or the original webcomic.

But yeah carver is more of a casual anime watcher. Not even really knocking him on that but he typically is only familiar with the more surface-level gateway stuff, and pretty much only shonen. But he will dickride those characters he knows harder than he will any comic character, giving losers like early Shippuden Naruto or Arrancar arc Ichigo the win over Superman.
