Darth Vaders Vision

Just generally i wasnt sure: was Darth vaders vision all red and if so why ? Because in ROTS when he got the helmet put on it all seems like it was all red?

Why do the inquisitors have red vision : this was evident in the recent game star wars Jedi: fallen order.

What does 1.Canon & 2. legends say of it ?

Anakin's eyes were burned on Mustafar, so his mask filters out certain wavelengths of light that could do further damage to them. That's why everything looks red.

Cool , but was his vision also red ie he can only see in red ?

He only sees red because his mask filters out all the other colors. They could damage his injured eyes.

lol Did he even see Luke when he took off his helmet then?

I remember a scene in the vader comic that took place after revenge of the sith.

He’s on a planet looking for that one Jedi for his lightsaber I think, and he’s clicking buttons on his belt and we see that one of the buttons alternates between different viewing modes in his helmet.

I think one of the modes had him seeing colors normally.

Thought that was to show us the difference between our perspective and his. Thought Purple/Red was Vader's and the normal mode was our perspective.

His suit does have a toggle function that allows Vader to filter through different spectra:
