Carol Danvers (MCU) vs. Hal Jordan (Green Lantern 2011 film)

Two heroes with powers of alien origins, who're also the predecessor of a deceased alien hero, are about to clash in a fight to the death. Captain Marvel and the Predecessor of Mar-Vell, faces off against the Green Lantern and Predecessor of Abin Sur.

Battle Location: New York City.

I think Hal has the greater potential but is just a bit too... green at this point?

I'm having trouble imagining him keeping up with Carol's raw firepower and strength.

Captain Marvel was stronger than Thanos one on where when the combined strength of Thor, Ironman and Worthy Cap couldn’t stop him

On a side note, I saw Green Lantern a few months ago and thought Blake Lively would have made for a far better Carol Danvers.
