Are Unfinished Clone Wars Animatics Canon?

I was watching the unfinished Clone Wars episode where it shows Cade Bane take on Boba fett in a gun fight in which is shows how Boba got his dent in his helmet.

Is this considered canon?

I wonder why they didn't finish the episodes they were already started working on?

Mainly because Disney put the kibosh on new episodes during the 2014 merger.

They already had these started I figured they would finish these before starting over. Oh well at least we have new episodes regardless.

There's going to be a difference between deleted scenes that were intentionally cut from the episodes that were aired, and unfinished episodes that were never released.

The former likely aren't going to be canon, as they were removed from the episodes for a reason... Like the cut scene which shows the Son being subservient to Revan and Bane, for example:

I'm just glad Filoni and GL came to their senses and cut it from the episode... That could have massively cheapened The Ones at a conceptual level.
