They've been doing it since covid19 started. When it personally affects them somehow(they get sick, a relative etc), then they usually change.

Texas Pastor Sorry For Refusing Vax After "Near Death"

A Corsicana pastor says his fight against COVID-19 has changed his perspective on getting the vaccine. The North Texas pastor has been battling the virus for more than 20 days. He admits he was not vaccinated but now plans to after his near-death experience.

"God puts us through these moments to teach us the lessons," he said. "I didn't mean to be cavalier. I didn't mean to be overconfident. But there's a lot of people just like me that haven't gotten the vaccine."

Reeves says doctors at Baylor helped clear up some of the misinformation for him, and he now plans to get vaccinated as soon as possible. "I've been taught a lesson, and I'm big enough and humble enough to say I was wrong," he said. "And if my survival and my story can be a blessing to others, I pray it is."

Little late for it now. I thought people who survive it don't need a vaccine, since they develped immunity already.

That's not how it's been working.

What do I know about vaccines anyways?

But I thought the point was to expose yourself to the bug under controlled circumstances (Like introducing a severly weakened or inert form), so your body can develop an immunity. So how is actually getting sick and recovering any different?

variants, like a flu jab every year. It isn't different. Having something doesn't make you immune, colds get caught all the time.

Anti-Vaxxer Chokes Out Regrets

As the delta variant fuels a rise of COVID-19 cases in San Joaquin County, 25 people are in the ICU due to the virus. One of them is Philly Baird, a Ripon man who KCRA 3 first met in 2018. Baird had been so devoted to his beloved NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles, he had his name legally changed to "Philly Baird."

Three years later, Baird fought for each breath at Doctor's Medical in Manteca, as he battled COVID-19 and pneumonia. Baird said before he got sick, he believed in the anti-vaccination propaganda. "I was an idiot. I didn't get the shot, I believed in all the hoopla."

His mind has been changed. He is now urging vaccinations.

i hope all the "paid crisis actors" (doctors and nurses) are able to help him to recovery...nah i don't care. f*ck him.

Nah. He needs to live to tell all his dummy anti-vax friends to take the damn vaccine.

"a rise of COVID-19 cases in San Joaquin County, 25 people are in the ICU due to the virus" -snip

^That's another problem with these mental-midget anti-vaxxers, they're taking up space and ICU beds which could easily be avoided, while car accidents, cancers and other serious medical problems are happening as they normally do and hospitals are running out of space again.

There's also going to be another drop in normal preventative checkups due to people not wanting to go to a covid infested hospital and people are going to get sick and possibly die from missing out on early diagnosis.

MS Man Regrets Refusing Vax After Leg Amputation

Bryan Thompson, 43, is married to Audrey. He has a 6-year-old son named Endymion. He works for an IT company from home. He says he is otherwise a healthy man, but he is unvaccinated against COVID-19.

"I was unvaccinated, yeah. I, myself, was a little skeptical, and I felt it got rushed. I wanted to just make sure it was safe." Thompson said he had a fever, which led to pneumonia. He ended up in the hospital. He said he recovered and was discharged, but once he got home things took a turn.

Audrey rushed him to the emergency room and that is when doctors found several blood clots in his leg. "It eventually got to the point where there was just no hope to save anything," said Bryan. "I had to have my leg, it's been amputated from right underneath my knee."

How is that 98% survival rate working out for you, dumb ****?

ABC news was almost gloating about the fact vaccine's could become mandatory for government jobs.

If your goal is getting people vaccinated, it might be a good idea to not laugh in their face about it.

There's some things that aren't even being discussed regarding COVID-19. Most virologists estimate that because of the high transmission rate there needs to be around 95% vaccination rates to achieve population "herd" immunity. Given most countries aren't promoting under 18s to receive the vaccine and given that under 18s are around 20% of the population in most countries then nowhere will ever reach herd immunity which almost guarantees that at some point a mutated variant will emerge that is vaccine resistant then we're petty never going to reach an end point of this pandemic.

i dunno...maybe they're willing to gaslight everyone and risk dying because their real plan is to kill the older members of their assh0le families. could be. why else were they placing zero-value on older folks since this all started?

I googled and found this story: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/biden-announce-vaccine-mandate-federal-employees-sources/story?id=79099493

Is that the story? Where is the gloating and laughing in faces?

But honestly, it's not like gloating would matter much. They're not listening to the experts and logic, instead sticking to the anti-science lies being spun by the Right that the vaccines are "poison", "mind control", "tracking devices" or similar.

The reason why these countries have the age limit so high is?

I’ll be honest, India is a very crowded country, because India. Okay, jokes aside, it’s caused more cases apparently. Surely, they’re COVIDiots too?
