One sun made him more powerful than regular. He then flew like a bunch more.
The dialogue, and imagery inspires one of those, "I'm more powerful than ever before" amps comic book characters had.
It's a great feat and a fun moment in a pretty shitty arc.

Why was the first Sun his biggest power-up and less than the other 5? That's unclear to me.
When I read that page, and see Superman flying faster than he ever had before, pissed off, and amped up, I'm not thinking oh damn, he must be slightly amped at 105%....I'm thinking oh shit, he must be near his peak in power and someone is in trouble.

JBL and Alberto like to bring up suns and imply that Superman was amped by x number of suns when that isn’t the case. You’re better than thiem. LOl Once he flew away from one he was no longer getting energy from that sun.
We all admit that sup got an amp from all the suns and was had the longest sundip in the first sun. We disagree about the amount of amp from that first sun. If he was multiple times base levels, “nearly whole” statement would never have been used that’s why I think he was not much more than 100%. You can say 1%, 2%, 10% and you could be right but it’s closer to 100% than 200%.
Superman flying faster than ever was because he needed to get to WF quickly and he’s flown faster without a sun amp.

The longer the sundip the bigger the amp. He was in the first sun the longest so he got the biggest amp from it. Ok, my follow up question: Why do you think he spent more time in the first sun than the others? Because he was flying slower?
Historically, going in the Sun is a huge deal for Superman. It super charges him significantly. He doesn’t even have to go in it to have HUGE jumps in power. And staying on prolong periods like 10x his powers and drives him near insane.
When has he flown faster? Maybe objectively he has in terms of calculable speed feats, but the narration specifically said faster than ever. I’ll be honest, Superman has never gone through anything but one Sun.
Going through multiple, combined with the narration, suggests to me Superman was operating at a levels more powerful than ever before. That’s my interpretation.
